I am so proud of your children. They are such great listeners and are learning so much through hands on play. Here are a few pictures of the fun we have had so far this November. Please remember to ask your child about his or her day. They are excited about what they are learning. Mrs. Terre and I are so thankful for the special guest who have visited our classroom this month. They have taught us about animals and safety. We have learned some words in Spanish while listening to the story of the "Three bears". We even learned about cooking and nutrition. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

The start of something new

Along with our new class blog comes Exciting news for the Quick family, and we wanted to share it with you. My husband and I are expecting our third child around May 7th 2011. We are thrilled and so are our two children. I thought I would share a story my daughter wrote at school to sum up our excitement.

About two months ago my brother and I found out some extraordinary news! In nine months we were going to be blessed with a new addition to our family! My mom said to not tell anybody for a little while, but how could I not? I'm so excited.
In about two months the doctor will tell us what the baby is and I can't wait! We did a bunch of research about what the baby looks like and what it's doing. About now it looks like a tiny blueberry and it's doing nothing. Boring!
When my mom came back from her last doctor appointment, she brought small photos of the baby inside the womb. You could barely see it inside the water bag! My parents were going crazy over how much it already looked like a baby! I was thinking, "Huh?" I didn't see how it looked like a baby, but I guess I'm not my parents. I can't wait until it actually looks like a baby, but for now I guess I'll just have to wait six more months full of mood swings and excitement!

Thanks for letting my family share our exciting news with you.
